Contact usWheel tightening involves tightening several screws or nuts distributed circularly on the rim, and the WheelGun torque screwdriver is dedicated to these operations, taking into account the inherent constraints of this type of application. The problem with torque control tightening on rims is the difficulty of finding a suitable reaction point. Usually, the reaction arm of wrenches or screwdrivers comes to rest at the same height as the screw head or nut to be tightened, whether on another nearby bolt or against a fixed part. The problem encountered on vehicle wheels is that there is little space available at the same height as the screw heads to pass the heel of a conventional reaction arm. Added to this is often the disadvantage of the screws being set quite deep into the rim, which makes access to the tool a little more difficult.
