HYTORC AIR HYDRAULIC PUMP WITH AIR MOTOR

The HY AIR air motor pump is the HYTORC model par excellence. Developed to suit all applications and for all models of hydraulic wrenches in the HYTORC catalog in SIMULTORC or by the unit. Its pneumatic motor is suitable for both site compressors and conventional compressed air networks in France and allows operation in explosive environments classified ATEX. With a flow rate of 12,5 L/min the HY AIR electric hydraulic pump works very fast and long with the intercooler integrated in the tank which maintains the oil at a normal temperature whatever the level of use.

Obviously equipped with 4 outlets for simultaneous tightening with several hydraulic wrenches, it will be a precious ally to perform critical operations with unbeatable tightening quality and downtime. The HY AIR has replaced the mythical HYTORC AIR hydraulic pump, which was the reference in the sector since the 2000s, with the same qualities: reliability, speed, endurance and simplicity of use.

The HY AIR is a fast, three-stage pneumatic hydraulic pump

With a powerful pneumatic motor coupled to a high-flow, three-stage hydraulic power pack, your controlled tightening jobs will move along at breakneck speed. With a maximum flow rate of 12.5 L/min even the biggest wrenches work fast with the HY AIR pump. With a three-stage hydraulic system, pressure cycles up to 300 bar have a speed far above conventional two-stage pumps. The stage change is hydraulically regulated and is completely transparent to the operator, who controls only the push and return cycles of the HYTORC wrench piston.

.

On the HY AIR motor-driven hydraulic pump, pneumatic remote control boils down to two easy-to-grip buttons: a button that when pressed triggers piston thrust and when released engages piston return, then a second button to stop the pneumatic motor. With its quick, easy handling and high-flow operation, the hydraulic pump HY AIR speeds up your jobsites, even in ATEX zones. With its Intercooler oil cooler, expanded air from the motor circulates through a tube passing through the tank to cool the oil throughout the pump’s use, so you can work as long as necessary without being penalized by oil that’s too hot.

The HY AIR pump ideal for SIMULTORC Simultaneous Clamping

In simultaneous clamping with several wrenches, cycle speed remains high, helping to ensure ultra-fast completion of the most critical operations to limit stoppages in production units with major stakes (refineries,…). Equipped as standard with a double-acting hydraulic distributor with four outlets, the HY AIR HYTORC is the spearhead of the SIMULTORC method. Tightening with two or four tools is as easy as child’s play with the HY AIR pump, because all you have to do is connect the hydraulic wrenches to the pump, set the pressure corresponding to the desired tightening torque, and you’ve got a well-paralleled, homogeneous tightening on your flange or bolted assembly whatever it may be. Tightening procedures using several tools simultaneously deliver extremely high time savings by limiting the number of intermediate tightenings on each bolt before the final tightening to the final torque.
