If you need to rent a HYTORC hydraulic wrench or torque screwdriver, it may be to perform a particular operation that your tool park doesn’t allow, or for an unusual configuration.
You may also need an accessory to allow your key to access a particularly tight or deep area and offset link cartridges or extenders can help solve these problems. The rental of hydraulic lock keys or rental of mechanical lock keys allows to complete the equipment for a tightening in the best conditions.
Having a reaction arm that allows the torque tool to reach a firm, solid fulcrum is essential. It is therefore possible to rent different types of reaction arms that will make long distance support possible when bolt coils are incomplete or for isolated bolts, for example ALCO rental arms are available for the most common hydraulic wrenches.
Therental of a lateral reaction heel for eye wrench is also possible to use stack sockets and keep a good quality of support. The reaction arms for long bushings can also be rented if needed for your applications requiring this kind of accessories.
To be able to use a hydraulic coaxial wrench or a torque screwdriver when there is little space to pass the tool over the screw head or the end of the threaded rod, HYTORC offers in rental of the links offset cassettes allowing the tool to be offset from the bolt axis and to have only a small thickness at the bolt.
Renting equipment such as an offset link cartridge allows you to use your key in places where it cannot be used alone. With the XLCT keys you have the possibility to rent the AB system with a very small footprint to have a very thin eye wrench with an open or closed link end or even a ratchet.
With the AB system rental you can use your Hytorc XLCT conventional key where it cannot be used with standard link cassettes. The rental of the clamping system including the XLCT hydraulic wrench with AB cartridge and AB links is of course possible.
examples of use
Not all bolted assemblies have opposing nuts likely to rotate during tightening, but when they do it’s very penalizing and can lead to the use of impact wrenches in place of counter wrenches. This situation is not ideal for operator safety, and HYTORC offers you a more suitable solution in this case, which is the location of stand-alone mechanical counter wrenches or location of hydraulic counter wrenches to have the right tool to carry out the tightening operation in good conditions.
