Historical manufacturer of hydraulic wrenches, HYTORC has put on the market in 2006 its first pneumatic torque wrenches. Due to the increasing demand for powerful tools with lighter logistics than hydraulic wrenches, HYTORC has launched the JGUN Single Speed pneumatic torque screwdriver.
After five years of research and development, this first pneumatic torque multiplier brings the brand’s renowned power and reliability to the market. The JGUN Single Speed pneumatic torque screwdriver develops from 65 N.m to 10,700 N.m with tools equipped with 3/4″ to 1″1/2 square drive. The torque is adjusted at the pneumatic supply by adjusting the pressure of the compressed air.

* The use of a HYTORC Filter Regulator Lubricator (FRL) unit treating the compressed air and supplied separately is strongly recommended for the correct operation of the screwdriver and its adjustment according to the manufacturer’s chart.

Contact usCoupling a torque-multiplying gear train to a pneumatic motor makes it possible to have a very large and precise tightening torque with a compact, well-integrated tool. Unlike simple torque multipliers, the tightening tool is one and the same with the pneumatic motor working in the axis, eliminating the risk of « catapulting » that exists when using the multiplier with a manual torque wrench.

The JGUN pneumatic torque screwdriver works smoothly and without vibration or shock, which is much more favorable to the operator’s working conditions thanimpact wrenches. Tightening torque is only as precise as the compressed air pressure that feeds the screwdriver, so it’s important to respect the set-up used during calibration when working with your JGUN screwdriver to guarantee precision. Compressed air is very sensitive to hose sizes, so don’t modify them.
JGUN pneumatic screwdrivers know how to apply precise torque, but more importantly they offer much more. With coaxial reaction splines, you have numerous possibilities for improving tightening conditions and promoting operator safety, particularly with the use of HYTORC Z Washers reaction washers with which there is no longer any need for a reaction arm.
The risk of pinching is reduced by the use of HYTORC Z Washers reaction washers .
The risk of pinching is therefore eliminated, clamping quality is significantly improved and the operator finds the same ease of installation as with an impact wrench without having to worry about a reaction arm to position correctly. As these coaxial reaction splines are common with other hydraulic and electric tools, many varied and special reaction arms are available to best suit your applications or internal constraints.
