The STEALTH hydraulic torque wrench introduces a major technological advance for hydraulic eye wrenches: the Double Piston drive. With low torque, it allows to work faster with the action of only one of the 2 pistons and delivers all its power when the 2nd piston engages. As a result, this hydraulic wrench has a significantly reduced cylinder section that matches the thickness of the link for a completely flat design.
The STEALTH hydraulic eye wrench does away with the pin traditionally holding the cylinder and cassette together with a simple push button locking the 2 parts together. The STEALTH family starts at 27mm and goes up to 155mm allowing to produce torques from 380 to 47 000 Nm.

As eye wrenches are designed for applications with very little clearance around the nut, it’s important to have the thinnest possible frame to cover the maximum number of tightening configurations. The Double Piston Cylinder of the STEALTH hydraulic torque wrench reduces the thickness of the STEALTH wrench body exactly to that of the Link to obtain an extra-flat hydraulic torque wrench.
The STEALTH hydraulic wrench is also faster because with 2 Pistons, part of the work can be done with just one of the two pistons. So when approaching a screw or nut, or after unlocking when loosening, little torque is needed to advance, so the cycles of one piston are sufficient. And the movements of a single piston at low pressure are much faster than the traditional single piston which requires the supply of more oil to complete its cycles.
To eliminate any risk of injury during tightening and loosening operations the STEALTH hydraulic wrench is compatible with HYTORC Z Washer reaction washers and HYTORC Clamp NUT nuts for tension tightening. These devices enable a torque wrench to be used without the need for an external reaction point other than the washer or nut, via a dedicated plate. This means there’s no risk of the operator pinching himself, and it’s also possible to hold the STEALTH eye wrench on its nut with an accessory holding the wrench flat against it. In this way, the operator alone can control several hydraulic wrenches at the same time with a single hydraulic pump.
The STEALTH hydraulic torque wrench also benefits from the Anti-Return system which, combined with double piston technology, makes it the fastest hydraulic bolting system on the market! this system is integrated into the links cassettes.
In the event that tightening is completed at the end of the wrench’s piston stroke, the accumulated torsion in the bolt may seek to pull the ratchet back, whereas theAnti-Return system prevents this. The wrench is thus locked on the bolt. STEALTH wrench links are equipped with 2 levers that enable the mechanism to be disengaged, thus releasing the tool effortlessly.
For operator ergonomics, the connection between the STEALTH hydraulic torque wrench and the twin hoses is made via the double swivel fitting on the top of the cylinder section. The 2-axis 360° x 180° swivel turret gives the operator sufficient freedom to position the wrench correctly and avoid pinching or twisting the hoses that contain the pressure.

Usually, link cassette hydraulic wrenches are made up of two parts connected and held together by a simple pin which must be turned over depending on the tightening or loosening operation. TheSTEALTH hydraulic torque wrench features a snap-in system operated by a push-button on the back of the heel, which can be manipulated with one hand. As a result, no parts protrude from either side and no reconfiguration is required to switch from tightening to loosening, a simple flip of the STEALTH eye wrench is all that’s needed.
Each low-thickness STEALTH hydraulic wrench link cassette fits perfectly with the double-piston cylinder part to form just one extraordinarily flat unit. The rear of each cassette incorporates an in-line reaction plate.
