A STEALTH hydraulic wrench consists of a double piston cylinder and a hexagonal eye cartridge or even a 12-sided eye cartridge.

Double Piston Cylinder – STEALTH Fully flat hydraulic wrench

Since eye wrenches are intended for applications with very little clearance around the nut, it is important to have the thinnest frame possible to cover the maximum number of tightening configurations. The Double Piston Cylinder of the STEALTH Hydraulic Torque Wrench allows the STEALTH wrench body thickness to be reduced exactly to that of the Link for an extra flat hydraulic torque wrench.

Double Piston Cylinder – STEALTH Faster eyebolt

The STEALTH hydraulic wrench is also faster because with 2 pistons, part of the work can be done with only one of the two pistons. Thus, when approaching a screw or a nut or after releasing it, only a little torque is needed to advance, so the cycles of a piston are sufficient. And the movements of a single piston at low pressure are much faster than the traditional single piston that requires more oil to cycle.

Hands-free tightening with the STEALTH wrench

To avoid any risk of injury during tightening and loosening operations, the STEALTH hydraulic wrench is compatible with HYTORC Z Washer and HYTORC Clamp NUT for tightening in tension. These are devices that allow the use of a torque wrench without the need for an external reaction point other than this washer or nut via a dedicated plate. This way, there is no risk of the operator getting pinched and it is also possible to hold the STEALTH wrench on its nut with an accessory that holds the wrench in place. The operator can thus control several hydraulic keys at the same time with a single hydraulic pump.

Anti-Return Operation

The STEALTH hydraulic torque wrench also benefits from the anti-return system which, combined with the double piston technology, makes it the fastest hydraulic bolting system on the market! This system is integrated in the links cassettes.

Lateral clutch release levers

If the tightening is completed at the end of the wrench’s piston stroke, the accumulated torsion in the bolt may try to pull the ratchet back while the Anti-Return System prevents it. The key is thus locked on the bolt. STEALTH wrench links are equipped with 2 levers that allow the mechanism to be disengaged and the tool to be released without effort.

2 axis hydraulic turret

For operator ergonomics, the connection between the STEALTH hydraulic torque wrench and the twin hoses is made by the double swivel connection on top of the cylinder part. The turret can be rotated on 2 axes at 360° x 180°, giving the operator enough freedom to position the wrench correctly and avoid pinching or twisting the hoses that contain the pressure.

Key Link lock without pin

Usually the hydraulic wrenches with cassettes links are composed of two parts connected and maintained between them by a simple pin which must be turned according to the operation tightening or loosening. The STEALTH Hydraulic Torque Wrench has a snap-in system operated by a push button on the back of the bead that can be operated with one hand. As a result, there are no protruding parts on either side and no reconfiguration to switch from tightening to loosening, just a simple turn of the STEALTH eyebolt.

Thin training link and in-line heel

Each thin STEALTH hydraulic wrench link cassette fits perfectly with the double-piston cylinder part to form an extraordinarily flat assembly. The back of each cassette has an in-line reaction plate.
