The AVANTI hydraulic torque wrench introduces a major technological advance in addition to those of the MXT: the “Coaxial Reaction” system in the axis of the square. It eliminates internal torsion in the wrench frame and, most importantly, it allows the wrench to work without a reaction arm for optimum safety. This allowed him to quickly conquer the market with already several tens of thousands of copies sold. The AVANTI family has the widest torque range on the market from 155 N.m to 187,000 N.m with square sizes from 3/4″ to 3″1/2. The AVANTI wrench can also be used for tensioning HYTORC NUTs.
The AVANTI hydraulic torque wrench is of course equipped with the large tooth anti-reverse system (a ratchet) and stands out from all other torque wrenches on the market by its reaction system. Its reaction arm is fixed around the square conductor, which opens up new possibilities for the operators and the quality of the clamping. The arm is no longer simply rotatable around the one-piece frame of the

The AVANTI hydraulic wrench is made with a monobloc frame in aluminium alloy which contains the double-acting 700 bar cylinder and the mechanical drive part.
The AVANTI hydraulic torque wrench is equipped with an anti-kickback system that ensures more productivity in your tightening operations.
The AVANTI wrench may be jammed on a bolt at the end of the tightening process due to the Anti-Return system so that it is impossible to remove it to move on to the next bolt. For this situation, the AVANTI wrenches are equipped with 2 indirect levers that can be operated without load and that allow to disengage the mechanism on a pressure impulse and release the hydraulic wrench without shock or effort.
The driving square of the AVANTI hydraulic torque wrench is splined and simply needs to be switched from the tightening to the loosening function. When there is little room for the key to pass through, a direct socket can be used in place of the grooved square drive.
The double swivel connection between the hydraulic key and the twin hoses is a very important point in terms of ergonomics and safety. The fact that the AVANTI wrench can be freely positioned with a turret that can be rotated on 2 axes at 360° x 180° helps the operator to easily find the most suitable position for his operation. Hoses should not be pinched or twisted to avoid compromising their integrity when under pressure.
To create torque, the reaction arm is essential because otherwise the wrench turns around the bolt without producing any effort. You need to rely on a solid, fixed object to develop torque, both when tightening and loosening. The AVANTI Hydraulic Torque Wrench Coaxial Reaction System rethinks the idea of a torque wrench reaction arm because it allows the tool body to be positioned around the bolt regardless of the orientation of the arm. Grooves around the driving square allow both the reaction arm to be positioned against a fulcrum and the frame to be oriented independently through 360°. If this possibility is essential for working on steel structures or mechanically welded structures with bolts close to multiple reinforcements, it is very much appreciated by operators for all types of operations because they have better control over the configuration of the clamping system and can balance it at their convenience.
The hydraulic torque wrench AVANTI can be used without its reaction arm to tighten to the torque for more safety of the operators (with washers HYTORC Z Washer or nuts HYTORC Clamp NUT. The clamping quality is also significantly improved with axial clamps because no shear stress is introduced into the bolt.
