Sleeves or hexagonal reducer inserts enable you to reduce the size of a link and avoid having to buy a link of a given size. It’s important to bear in mind that the hexagonal reducer insert will increase the radius of the wrench used. We therefore strongly advise you to check the dimensions of your application.
Ex: You have a 100mm link for 90% of your applications, but you need to tighten 80mm bolts. To avoid buying an 80mm link, you can opt for a 100/80mm sleeve, thus saving the investment in an 80mm link.
