Contact usThe EDGE hydraulic wrench is equipped with a one-piece frame for strength and durability. The clamping force is created by a 700 bar double-acting cylinder which ensures the push and reset cycles.
The EDGE hydraulic wrench incorporates a 3-piece moving mechanism as a drive system. It is a simple system with few components and proven for double-acting wrenches that provides good performance at an attractive price. This is sufficient for occasional operations with reasonable production rates.
This hydraulic torque wrench is equipped with a sliding square drive to quickly switch from the tightening to the loosening position. It is guided by a square indentation in the gear wheel and its travel is limited so that it never escapes from the key. It is then held on the tightening or loosening side by the pin connecting it to the sleeve.
As the hydraulic hoses are quite rigid, it is important to leave some mobility at the level of the connection with the EDGE hydraulic wrench thanks to the double swivel connection. The EDGE is equipped with a hydraulic turret that allows for 360° x 180° rotation to help the operator handle the tool easily. This makes the hoses less prone to damage from pinching or kinking, which can become dangerous when repeatedly pressurized during tightening and loosening operations.
The EDGE hydraulic wrench has a 360° swivel reaction arm for support and torque development. The adjustable reaction arm is held by an accessible, spring-loaded locking lever so that the arm can be reconfigured quickly and always have the best fulcrum for both tightening and loosening.
