The VERSA hydraulic torque wrench consists of a frame including the cylinder that fits into cassettes with a female hexagonal recess directly to the size of the nuts. There are about ten cassettes (also called links) for each size of cylinder corresponding to a range of bolt sizes and therefore torques that the wrench can develop. The two parts are held together by a pin and the reaction takes place under the heel of the link, regardless of the direction of use: tightening or loosening.
VERSA wrenches are available in sizes from 22mm to 155mm and allow tightening from 200 to 49 000 N.m.

VERSA hydraulic wrench linkage cassettes have a 3-piece moving mechanism for drive system. Its simple and well-proven design makes it a compact and powerful double-acting eye wrench. Rather intended to carry out punctual work at reasonable rates it is a reliable and powerful tool.
The cylinder part of the VERSA hydraulic torque wrench is powered by a top-mounted hydraulic turret that can be rotated 360° to help the operator position the wrench without being hindered by the twin hoses.
Each VERSA hydraulic torque wrench model is available with a range of linkage cassettes to match the torque it can produce. These thin link cassettes integrate perfectly with the wrench frame to make a compact and practical tool where the reaction is in line with the tightened bolt.
The linkage cassettes of the VERSA hydraulic wrench are attached to the cylinder part by means of a pin. Thanks to a ring, it is easy to put in place or to remove this pin to reconfigure the key with another link or to reverse the direction of tightening where it is necessary to avoid that it comes in contact with a possible reaction point.
